Bat Guano is a very effective, well balanced natural organic nutrient, made from composted bat excrement. When added to your growing medium or nutrient solution it will help create a very fertile environment for your plants. Bat Guano is naturally very high in phosphorus alongside nitrogen and potassium and phosphorus. It will improve the condition of the soil, encouraging accelerated root growth and better tasting and yielding crops.

How It Works

Composted bat excrement is an ancient product that has been used for many years to improve the condition and vitality of soil. It contains organic, chelated compounds that facilitate the growth of valuable microbial life in soil based growing media, whilst conditioning and breaking down toxins. This will result in enhanced soil life, improving both growth and bloom. Our guano is comprised of Bat Guano, Seabird Guano, Vinasse Extract, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. Using this powerful fertiliser will improve the flavour, quality and yield of your final crop.

How To Use Guanokalong Bat Guano

Bat Guano can be used in a variety of ways. It is best suited for soil but can also be used in coco. For indoor use or those growing in pots a mixture of 100g Guano per 15L of potting soil can be made up before planting out to provide a slow release of nutrient. As your plants grow more guano can be sprinkled over the top of the soil and watered in for a top up. For more sensitive plants or those using more heavily fertilised soil mixes then the latter option is preferred to prevent and possible over-fertilisation issues. As a general guideline an application at the start of veg, flowering and midway through flowering is sufficient.

For those growing outdoors 1kg is usually sufficient for 5-10m2. Simply sprinkle over the top of your soil and rake to mix it in. This can be repeated at a later stage if needed.
