Spider mites are one of the worst bugs to contract. However, you can take simple steps to boost defence and increase prevention, such as spraying Athena IPM, installing an intake filter, and dunking your plants with Skram or Pyrethrum.
Sometimes, however, this may not be enough if the invasion has gone to far. In which case, to get rid of spider mites, you will need to reach for a natural or chemical solution. Both have pros and cons, but remember, if you go down the chemical route, make sure to spray under the leaves, this is where the spiders lay their eggs. Spray every 3 days to ensure you kill off the next generation of spider mites that may hatch.
